Carlsbad Caverns

Visiting Carlsbad Caverns is like being transported to an underground alien world. In this park, there are over 119 limestone caves, with the most visited being the largest Carlsbad Cavern. To get the best experience at this park, I highly recommend taking the Natural Entrance Trail leading down to the popular Big Room Trail. On this trail, you will enter the same way Jim White, the first known person to explore the caves, did.
