Guadalupe Mountains

01

The Guadalupe Mountains National Park, nestled in West Texas, is a relatively unknown National Park. The park is home to the highest point in Texas at 8,751' in addition to many other beautiful mountains such as El Capitan, Hunter Peak, and Bush Mountain. Amongst the desert rocks, you will find a surprising amount of life in the form of cacti, lizards, elk, black bears, and the occasional mountain lion. This was my first National Park and is still my favorite National Park.
